Almena Gordon
Chief Operations Officer & Mentor for Broward WSCs with ASCS. Almena obtained her Master of Social Work degree from Barry University, her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Florida Atlantic University, and her Associate of Arts degree from Broward College. Her professional experience began in 2003 from working with pre-school toddlers, at-risk elderly, and teens. She has been serving individuals with developmental disabilities for over 11 years. She is a dynamic speaker specializing in empowering, informing, and educating families and people with developmental disabilities.
Lawrence Gordon
Assistant Chief Operations Officer and Mentor for Palm Beach WSCs with ASCS. Lawrence obtained his Bachelor of Social Work degree from Florida Atlantic University. He played professional football in the Canadian Football League. He is an All-Star on and off the field. He brings years of experience from working with abused children, supervising case managers, and being a Big Brother volunteer. He has been advocating for individuals with developmental disabilities since 2015. He is a phenomenal motivational/educational speaker specializing in positive parenting, healthy living/eating, exercise, and health.
